One Day, I woke up and decided I didn’t want to go to work. Not like the Sunday scaries or what I call the ho-hums. No, I wanted to quit my job and my recruiting career altogether. I was miserable, and it finally hit me—I wasn’t coaching; I was chasing money.
After being a technical recruiter for over two decades, I was burned out. I was unmotivated and unchallenged. I knew I needed to get to the bottom of the feeling quickly.
So I rolled up my sleeves, took a deep dive into my strengths, and examined what I loved about my recruiting job. It wasn’t matching people with employers — it was counseling women on how to tell their stories, demonstrate the impact they can make, and nail interviews with confidence. That’s what filled me up!
What I uncovered was…. I was meant to be a CAREER COACH
I watched qualified women candidates make the same mistakes over again when it came to networking, interviewing, leaving money on the table when negotiating, and everything in between.
My life purpose is to help women feel prepared, confident, and assured they are putting their best foot forward.
After two decades of technical recruiting in HR, I’ve read thousands of resumes and hired hundreds of candidates; I understand the employer’s perspective for resumes, interviews, and negotiating.
I know what gets results and what doesn’t.
